Ежегодно фестиваль проводится в целях сохранения духовной общности народов, формирования толерантных отношений среди различных национальностей, повышения эффективности межэтнического диалога в молодежной среде и содействия обеспечению атмосферы межнационального мира и согласия, принципов демократии и гражданского равенства, укрепления молодежного мирового сообщества вокруг идеи справедливости.

Организаторами мероприятия выступили Администрация Курской области, комитет по делам молодежи и туризму Курской области, ОБУ «Областной Дворец молодежи».

В фестивале приняли активное участие иностранные обучающиеся Курского государственного медицинского университета из Индии, Шри-Ланки и ЮАР.

Проведение концертов, посвященных культуре разных стран мира, позволяют раскрыть национальные особенности народов, их обычаи и традиции, привить у студентов дух миролюбия, толерантности к представителям различных национальностей, развить и раскрыть творческие и интеллектуальные способности.

Regional Youth Festival of National Cultures

“Side by Side with Friends”

The regional youth festival of national cultures “Side by Side with Friends” took place on November 10, 2017 at the Regional Youth Palace.

The festival is held annually in order to preserve the spiritual commonality of the nations, to shape tolerant relationships among various nationalities, to enhance the efficiency of the inter-ethnic dialogue in the youth community and to promote the maintenance of the inter-ethnic peace and harmony, democracy and civil equality principles, consolidation of the world youth community around the idea of justice.

The event was hosted by the Administration of the Kursk region, the Committee for matters concerning young persons and tourism of the Kursk region and the regional budgetary institution “The Regional Youth Palace”.

The foreign students of the Kursk state medical university from India, Sri-Lanka and the Republic of South Africa took an active part in the festival.

The concerts devoted to the culture of different countries of the world allow to discover their national peculiarities, customs and traditions, to cultivate in students peacefulness and tolerance to the representatives of other nationalities, to develop and reveal their creative and intellectual abilities.
